A little more Malay, a little more every day. Meet your new chat companion and the tools that help every conversation stick.

Aiman waving hello

Your first conversation

Eh, hai! 👋

I’m Aiman. Let’s chat.

Sikit-sikit, lama-lama pandai.

Little by little, you’ll get there.

Malay for your next lunch order, kopi break, or “eh, how are you?”

Meet Aiman, your AI companion for everyday, informal Malay. Start with whatever you know, in English or Malay. Aiman keeps the chat going, with a little help whenever you need it. Here’s what’s in our first release.

01 / CONVERSATIONS

A place to start talking.

Pick a Singapore scene, write your own, or try Feeling lucky. Chat in Malay with English alongside, word maps, and notes that make each line click. Search past chats to pick up where you left off, or undo your last turn and try again.

Everyday scenes. Malay, with English close by.

02 / LISTENING

Get a feel for the sound.

Hear chat lines, saved phrases, and examples aloud. Switch between normal, 0.8×, and 0.5× speed to catch the rhythm, then practise saying it yourself.

Listen at full speed, then slow it down.

03 / A LITTLE HELP

Never stuck for words.

Tap the light bulb for suggested Malay replies and their English meanings. Add one to your draft, tweak it to sound like you, and send when you’re ready.

Useful replies, ready to make your own.

04 / YOUR LIBRARY

Good phrases are keepers.

Save phrases from a chat or look up something new, complete with word maps, examples, and usage notes. Search your phrasebook anytime. The Basics tab keeps pronouns, question words, verbs, and connectors within reach, with audio and example sentences.

Your growing collection of everyday Malay.

05 / QUIZZES

Make the conversation stick.

Turn a chat into a 12-question quiz with multiple-choice and short-answer questions. Get feedback as you go, resume a saved round, and review your answers. Ask Aiman about anything you missed.

A quick check on the words you just used.

06 / NOTES

A scratch pad for the good bits.

Keep your own notes in Scratch. Use /translate to insert a phrase card and /explain to save a question and answer. Open it from Notes or with ⌘K / Ctrl+K whenever inspiration strikes.

Notes, translations, and explanations together.

07 / OUT IN THE WORLD

Take the chat further.

Aiman can search the web when your conversation needs fresh context, with source links to explore. Share a chat through a public, read-only link, and make it private again whenever you like.

Fresh context, with sources you can follow.

08 / FOLLOW-UP THREADS

Every bubble can start a conversation.

Tap the question mark on a chat bubble to open a separate Ask Aiman thread about that line. Dig into a word, check the tone, or ask how else to say it. Keep asking follow-up questions, then return to your main chat. Your thread stays saved with its bubble.

A separate thread, anchored to the line you’re curious about.

Jom, kita mula.

Let’s get started. Your first conversation is waiting.
